Birmingham real estate acquisition and development firm Sanders Capital Partners has acquired a $4.2 million Fort Payne retail center.
The company, formed five years ago, continues to build its portfolio by acquiring and developing properties in the South and Midwest.
According to the company, Alabama Crossings, a 27,800-square-foot retail center on Glenn Boulevard off Interstate 59, has also had major renovations recently completed. The center has been in operation since 2000 and has 10 tenants, including medical practices and national retail shops.
“This asset has a strong medical and service-oriented tenant mix in a neighborhood-friendly size that we believe will continue to be well-received by the community,” Jackson Stewart, general counsel for Sanders Capital Partners, said. “Immediately after acquiring the property, we implemented plans for substantial improvements that we believe will maximize value for our tenants and improve the experience to their customers.”
