A fast-growing Birmingham real estate firm recently completed a deal that gives it a presence in Huntsville.
Sanders Capital Partners, or SCP, recently acquired Redstone Ridge retail center for $5.7 million.
Redstone Ridge is 37,500 square feet and includes tenants Dollar Tree and Cato Clothing. The center also recently added popular Huntsville restaurant Chuck Wagon BBQ. Walmart and Chick-fil-A and a number of other retailers are located nearby.
“Sanders Capital Partners is encouraged to move into the Huntsville market and pursue even more opportunities within this dynamic and growing area,” said Jackson Stewart, General Counsel for SCP. “While we continue to build momentum and enter new markets, like Cincinnati and Huntsville, our firm looks first at each property’s fundamentals and its impact on the surrounding area. That said, we believe that the South Memorial Parkway area and Huntsville in general will benefit from continued growth and we are looking forward to being a part of it.”
Sanders Capital Partners started in 2015 and has quickly grown to a portfolio of properties in the Birmingham area, including development of a retail strip in Liberty Park, as well acquisitions in Cincinnati and now Huntsville.
