Sanders Capital Partners recently purchased Forestdale Shopping Center for $1.625 million. Forestdale Shopping Center is a 25,000-square-foot property that includes tenants Dollar General, Sneaky Pete's Hotdogs, Daylight Donuts and others. According to a press release, the center is fully leased.
“Forestdale is another example of how staying the course and sticking to strong investment fundamentals pays off and we believe the property will be an asset to our growing company,” said Brooks Sanders, vice president of Birmingham-based Sanders Capital Partners. “This acquisition furthers a portion of SCP’s investment strategy of developing or acquiring well-positioned retail property that is significant to the community in which it is located.” The seller was Eddie Robinson, a contractor. The brokers were Brooks Corr of Retail Specialists and Will Davenport of Remax Advantage.
